to the home page for American Heritage Girls Troop
3130. American Heritage Girls is an organization dedicated to the mission of assisting girls in learning about themselves, their community and their country. We offer a wholesome program of activities supervised by trained adults, supported by families and implemented by members of the organization. Our goal is to build women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. The American Heritage Girls was founded in August of 1995 in West Chester, Ohio. It was founded with the love of God, with the love of families, for the love of children. The Oath American Heritage Girls Creed Compassionate - Understanding

About the American Heritage Girls Program
American Heritage Girls program has five grade level divisions. Troops may be comprised of one age level or multi-levels.
Pathfinders Level:
- Kindergarten
- Receives activity patches for participation in troop activities or special events
- Service Stars* (blue) are awarded for five hours of community service to be given at the Court of Awards in May to be placed on her Tenderfoot vest
Tenderfoot Level:
- Grades kindergarten through third
- Earns merit badges in any of the six frontiers of skill*
- Receives activity patches for participation in troop activities or
special events
- Earn the Sacagawea Award for achieving the hightest level of skill and
service
- Service Stars* (blue) are awarded for five hours of community service
Explorer
Level:
- Grades four through six
- Earns merit badges in any of the six frontiers of skill*
- Receives activity patches for participation in troop activities or
special events
- Earn the Lewis and Clark Award for achieving the highest level of skill
and service
- Service Stars* (red) are awarded for ten hours of community service
Pioneer
Level:
- Grades seven and eight
- Earns merit badges in any of six frontiers of skill*
- Receives activity patches for participation in troop activities or
special events
- Train to be Camp and Event Aides
- Earn the Jane Addams Award for achieving the highest level of skill and
service
- Service stars* (white) are awarded for fifteen hours of community
service
Patriot
Level:
- Grades nine through twelve
- Earns merit badges in any of the six frontiers of skill*
- Receives activity patches for participation in troop activities or
special events
- Train to be Camp and Event Aides
- Earn the highest Stars and Stripes Award for achieving the highest
levels of service and skill (Jane Addams is pre-requisite for working on
Stars and Stripes
- Service stars* (yellow) are awarded for twenty hours of community
service
*The Merit Badges and Service Stars for American Heritage Girls are progressive in nature. A Tenderfoot will require a very basic skill level while a much older Patriot will have progressed to a much higher skill level to complete a Merit Badge.
